In a quieter month, I wonder why has it taken me so very long to write and post. I don't have an answer, but I have been enjoying a couple weeks without 'real world' obligations. We've booked a trip to Hawaii in April when Josh has a wedding. What better place to camp than a tropical island? Now if only I can plan our trip so that we stay only at campgrounds with showers... It's only been a month...

A busy one at that! But Happy Christmas to all. Can't wait to celebrate with you, and here's a lot of recent happenings and ponderings.

I forgot to add Simon's perception of the lost little boy. We know he doesn't grasp the fullness and gravity of the situation. Quite frankly, he was excited to see the policemen and their cruisers. But we started talking a long time ago about strangers and leaving home, and the safety of mom and dad. If only we could protect them from all the 'scary.' I know, they will have to experience it for themselves, just as Josh and I did on our own. Thanks, moms and dads, for raising and loving us well, so that we might now have the opportunity to raise our own small beings.
